Abstract: E-learning systems are widely adopted for their flexibility and accessibility, though video production remains the most costly aspect of MOOC creation. To enhance interoperability and avoid content duplication, standards like SCORM and NSL allow instructional designers to efficiently distribute content across platforms. Educational videos and games can be powerful tools for teaching moral values to children. By integrating decision-making scenarios and storytelling, these media promote critical thinking, empathy, and ethical reasoning in a safe, engaging environment. Despite their potential, there is a lack of conceptual frameworks linking moral values, objectives, children’s actions, and game structures. This work introduces a methodological framework for teaching values like honesty and empathy through games, demonstrated via a case study. Additionally, this thesis presents LDv, a domain-specific language for designing animations of craftsmanship learning experiences. LDv supports the animation of discrete transformation chains through reusable unit animations, enabling easy adaptation across various modeling scenarios. The approach is implemented via a language workbench and validated through a case study
