dc.description	The study aims to analyze the reality of archive digitization in public and private institutions, focusing on the Tiaret State Archive Center as a case study. It adopts a descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing interviews and field observations. The findings reveal that the motivations for digitization include improving administrative performance and facilitating access to information. However, the center faces challenges such as insufficient financial resources, lack of software, and inadequate training. Currently, no software is in use, hindering the digital transformation process. Paper documents are accumulated in poor condition, and equipment is limited. The study concludes that there is theoretical awareness of the importance of digitization, but practical implementation is nearly nonexistent. It recommends allocating a budget, training personnel, and establishing a legal framework. The experience could be generalized if successful locally. The study contributes to the discourse on digital transformation and the preservation of administrative heritage	en_US
