Description: This study explores the reality of the business environment in Algeria, using the province of Tiaret as a case study to better understand how things work on the ground. The main goal was to look beyond general policies and see how investors and business owners actually experience the process of starting and running a business locally. To do this, I combined both theoretical research and fieldwork. I collected data using a questionnaire distributed to a group of local stakeholders involved in business activity—people who know the challenges firsthand. The focus was on key areas like administrative procedures, licensing, infrastructure, financing, and the legal framework that surrounds business in the region. The results showed that, despite the many reforms announced at the national level, there are still real and persistent obstacles that slow down or discourage investment. Long and complex procedures, lack of coordination between institutions, and limited support for small businesses are just a few of the problems that came up. At the same time, many participants expressed hope and willingness to see change, which is encouraging. Description: Banks are considered the mainstay of economic life and the main engine of various activities, as they revive and develop various economic sectors, and that is due to the various activities they carry out, such as financing and supporting markets in order to benefit from various productive and commercial activities. The subject of this study is the role of commercial banks in financing the housing sector through real estate loans in terms of knowledge of financing methods and bank procedures for granting loans. Thus, we conducted field research on the Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ain Al-Dhahab Agency, in order to find out the extent to which this bank contributed to supporting and raising the level of the housing sector in the region by granting housing loans.
